Vila Gale Hotel at Fortaleza

This is at the north-eastern end of Fortaleza on the beach front. It is operated by a Portuguese company which specialises in smaller, more intimate hotels. This is at the end of town on the Praia do Futuro where the streets are quieter and walking is less risky. It is five miles or an easy taxi ride from the Avenida Beira Mar, the centre of Fortaleza. It has 285 rooms with restaurant, beach restaurant jacuzzi, sauna, steam room, baby nursery, tennis courts, games room and conference rooms.

There is a large swimming pool, surrounded by palm trees and a beach bar with palm roof and palm -shaded tables. The following prices are for two people sharing a seaview room, per person. Premium Class seats are available on the flights.

"Fortaleza was the 2nd stop on our Brazil tour. It was almost perfect. they have their own private area of the beach. Different restaurants with good food and good prices. Helpful staff.You are away from the main attractions but taxis are very cheap."
