Air France Crash mid-Atlantic June 1 2009

Air France AF 447 route from Rio de Janeiro bound for Paris Charles de Gaulle on June 1

The Airbus A330 on scheduled flight AF447 flew directly into heavy turbulence at 35,000 ft some 400 miles north of Isla da Noronha off the Brazilian coats. All lives of crew and passengers were presumed lost. The cause of the accident will remain a mystery until the black box is found.
