Imperial Hotel and Fortaleza Hotel

The Portuguese-owned Oasis Group has two business hotels at the western end of the Avenida Beira Mar in Fortaleza. They differ mostly in the standard and size of the rooms and the price. It is on the Meireles Beach one of the best in Fortaleza city and in the more secure end of the town. The Hotel Imperial has large suites for business visitors and also some smaller tourist rooms, whilst the Fortaleza has more modest accomodation.

The following prices are for two people sharing, including flights from Lisbon and transfers. There may be additional surcharges when flights are full.

"Nowadays, Fortaleza is used as a jumping-off point for many serene palm-lined beaches that the Brazil northeast is known for. The lively Praia da Iracema and Praia do Meireles are excellent places to dine or dance; the beaches in Fortaleza are known more for their nightlife than for sun and surf. We stayed at the Imperial. "
